Following the reverse of last evening's route, we returned to Holstein, arriving just after 10:00. Along the way, we passed a number of black Mennonite buggies heading for church.
Lots of families and nice horses
More buggies
Another classic out for a Sunday drive
There was a lot of brunch food laid out at Marilyn's and most of the folks were still there. Same time next year sounds like a really good thing.
Before we left, I phoned the Skechers factory outlet in Cookstown to see if they had any golf shoes. Like all those places across the US where I stopped to check in June, they had none. What is the point of advertising golf shoes on TV if your own stores do not carry them? This did, however, allow me to choose a more northerly route home.
We followed county roads through Flesherton, Singhampton, and Duntroon to Stayner where, amidst a madhouse of what the locals call Citiots, we fueled up. Then I tried to go south of Wasaga Beach but miscued and came up in the middle of town. Then it was on to Elmvale and Vasey on the way to Highway 400.
Elmvale

Old Chevy's never die.....
The rest of the way home was uneventful, although we did see a little smoke from Parry Sound 33 around the Highway 64 exit to Alban. We pulled into the driveway just after 4:00 PM.
