Those of you who follow this blog will be familiar with Brother Bear (Ron) and Laurie from New Hampshire. We have taken a number of trips with them along with Ron's sister Judy and her husband Brad. Our last encounter with Ron and Laurie was a couple of weeks ago at the Laconia gathering.
The four of them were on a tour of Nova Scotia. I got a note from Judy this morning saying Ron and Laurie had gone off the Cabot Trail yesterday and been airlifted to hospital in Halifax. Both apparently have fractured pelvises while Ron also has a broken arm and internal injuries, but reports are that they are stable.
They are some of our favourite folks and our thoughts are with them for a complete and speedy recovery.
