Trucker Passes Nearby

Yesterday, Biker let me know that a friend of our, Jacques aka Trucker who is a VROC member from Quebec, would be coming through Espanola today with his wife after crossing to Manitoulin Island on the Chicheemaun ferry on their way to circumnavigate Lake Superior. We hadn't see Jacques since Virginia last September so we decided to go down and say Hi.

Biker and his wife Cheryl picked us up in their Acadia SUV at 2:00 PM and we  drove the 40 miles to the Tim Horton's on Highway 17 near Espanola where we found Jacques and his lovely bride already waiting. We had a nice but short visit and then waved goodbye to them as they headed west to cover the 140 miles to the Soo.
